Photovoltaic plant commissioning
Arkais | Llac is committed to green manufacturing with the launch of a photovoltaic plant.
The new installation generates 50% of current consumption and reduces dependence on non-renewable energy.
Arkais | Llac takes a new step in its commitment to preserve the environment and minimize the impact of its activity on the environment. The display and commercial equipment company has implemented a large photovoltaic plant in its factory located in the Vila-real area.
This new facility produces electricity of renewable origin from solar radiation and supplies the firm’s production systems, which allows, on the one hand, to reduce its dependence on non-renewable sources, which are more polluting, and on the other, to opt for a more sustainable and clean energy.
This plate system generates 50% of current consumption, so half of the energy used in the facilities is clean. This achievement is added to other environmental sustainability actions that Arkais | In recent years, Llac has been carrying out exhaustive management in all its production processes, in order to protect the natural habitat.
Also, the use of aspiration systems with filters to recover all the particles that are produced in the different processes of sectioning, sanding and painting, thus reducing the emission of contaminating particles.
Furthermore, it highlights the growing use of water-based varnishes, which are less harmful to the atmosphere, and the responsible management of the waste generated, which is stored in perfectly marked areas and prepared for subsequent management through authorized managers. These are just some of the actions carried out by Arkais | Llac to protect the environment to which the photovoltaic plant is added.
